Jeep Kit Install Gallery

Jeeps have a wide range of factory ignition options and this is a good time to clean things up. We suggest doing system fuel and ignition

what current ignition do you have ? Might they have an MSD distributor or MSD 6 ignition modal.

for best function we suggest upgrading the distributor for full fuel and improved ignition spark value and ignition control

we prefer the MSD distributor or early motorcraft distributor for jeep. It is common with jeeps that people consider or believe that an HEI ignition is a standard upgrade.

If they are considering an HEI upgrade we would suggest it is not required our system offers more options and better ignition function.  But we would suggest upgrading the distributor itself for improved trigger control and quality ( the msd as we know runs about 300 dollars) If looking to keep the expense down  look for a rebuilt motorcraft electronic pick up style distributor from mid 70s 80s Jeep CJ works fine it  in reality has the same pick up as the MSD runs about 49.00 exchange core value might be 20 the last time I did one this way they took what ever was in the box when I brought it back. With that our system does fuel and ignition fixing two issues with the swift change.

Secondly is to confirm if they have already upgraded the existing factory manifold.

do they currently have a stock carbureted manifold or after market like Clifford or Offenhouser. We have a conversion and adapter for direct bolt to a Clifford manifold. Our conversion can work on the offenhouser with the addition of an adapter. We have done 3 or 4 each one made his own adapter to fit the IDF, One used a standard universal adapter for Offenhouser and we supplied kit using the DCNF throttle system.

We have also been getting questions because of factory injection system failures. Looking to upgrade the current system with new ecu and a overlay system and yes we have done this and yes I am working on that option as a kit I own  Cherokee and it has issues with the brain and the trigger, this is an issue with the aging  factory systems. We have had two requests and done them on the fly and they worked fine.your cost $1250  fuel only seqintal 6 injector can function fuel and ignition same issues as above for ease of set up we suggest distributor upgrade.

So with that

we have currently two ready Kit option a kit that will bolt onto a  Jeep with clifford manifold, and we have the Master kit that includes new manifold. We do not have instock the MSD or mallory distributor.

Wcannot supply digital instructions I do not have them in a usable send formate I will attache a picture of our project jeep it will show most of what is needed except the fuel pump conversion. The master kit picture is correct except it does not show the Relay connection center.

lastly in these pictures the ecu is right up front for reference and ease of display . The harness is long enough to put the ecu in the cab under the passenger seat or dash box area. Most have been near where this one is or under the battery box area. The ecu just needs to be in a reasonable safe and dry location it can get wet and it can be knocked around it is not meant to go underwater. It has tested in water and wet and was ok  but it is not guranteed for full submersion. We suggest the incab location for those that do agressive river crossing or extream all Terrain use.

As a referance and as you know its not really any harder than installing a Weber conversion with the exception that your going to wire in and mount an electronics box. We supply the connection relay box just for this market to make it a Two  wire connection.  All sensor  and injector connections are plug and play. the last issue is installing an external fuel pump in the system and using the existing return for fuel return. for a street and trail use application there is not critical need to upgrade the fittings out of the tank as suggested to larger 14mm fitting unless you have the time and abiltiy to remove the tank and install new larger fitting. ( in our kit we offer larger fuel supply line and fitting for higher volume fuel supply ahead of pump) on the jeep it is not critical for most  applications only for more race or high rpm applications which is not in the jeep language.
